FAQ’s about our on-line program

How often should I come? - As an Exercise Physiologist I know a lot about motivation, commitment and accountability, and I have seen over the years the most successful people in terms of lifestyle change are the ones that give it a good old go. Any less than 12 weeks embarking on an exercise prescribed treatment for any health condition, will not have you seeing any results or changes. You will start to see some after a few weeks but to really allow your body to adapt to your exercise treatment, you need to give it some time. At She Healthcare we understand commitment is hard but our expectation is that you will see your Exercise Physiologist weekly or fortnightly for the first 5 sessions.

What if I am sick and need to cancel my appointment? - We have a 24 hour cancellation policy here at She Community. If you chose to cancel your session within 24 hours, you will be fully charged for the session. If you cancel outside 24 hours, you will not be charged. This includes both small group sessions and one on one sessions. We understand things happen so please do let us know why you are cancelling and an arrangement might be able to be made.

Can I claim any rebates for the sessions? - If you have a private health fund, the majority of them will have coverage for Exercise Physiology. I can provide you with a medicare/private health fund receipt and you can claim your sessions at the appropriate rebate your health fund provides. You can also claim a rebate if you have a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan - you wont likely be able to obtain one for Menopause, but if you have a chronic disease associated with hormone change or any other women’s health issue, you will be able to obtain one on approval by your GP. If you are covered under the NDIS scheme I can also accept participant’s that are self or plan managed - your treatment would need to be applicable to your primary disability.

How and where will the sessions run? - Online via either Zoom or Google Meet. This can be arranged upon booking.
